Hello, akwaaba, aaniin, bonjour!
We are a diverse and vibrant congregation with ministries and activities for all ages. Located in the St James - Crestview area of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty 1 land in Canada. We have been a part of our community for over 50 years and we seek to impact both our immediate and global communities with the gospel of Christ.
Know that Jesus loves you as you are, and that all are welcome in our church.
"You formed the way I think and feel.
You put me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because you made me in such a wonderful way."
- Psalm 139: 13-14
If you are a first time visitor, help is serve you better by filling out the contact us form and letting us know how we can be of assistance.
We are also on the Church Center App - so there are many ways to connect with us! And if you wish to know Jesus better, then we welcome and encourage you to join one of our fellowship groups or to come and worship with us.
Visitor Questions:
Do I have to come to the building?
No, but you are welcome! The above button will take you to our zoom service each Sunday morning. Feel free to join us there and see how things work before joining us in person.
What if I have mobility challenges?
Unfortunately at this time there are several stairs to navigate in order to access our sanctuary and/or washrooms. We are in the process of addressing this, but will be some time before we can fully accommodate people with mobility challenges.
What if I'm feeling a little under the weather?
How can I continue to give weekly?
Where are the washrooms?

What if I'm feeling a little under the weather?
- We encourage you to join us over zoom to lessen the spread of illness, but if you can't or would still prefer to join us in person, we encourage you to wear a mask, particularly if you may have been exposed to any sort of air-born illness and do have symptoms. The pandemic taught us that wearing masks when we are sick can reduce the spread of colds/flues so feel free, if you aren't feeling very well but still want to attend in person, to wear a mask for the good of others. We also recognize that people are at different levels of comfort so respect anyone who wishes to wear one out of caution or preference. We also have masks on site if you would like one and don't have one.
- We come to celebrate, ponder and encounter the Living God through Jesus Christ as a community of believers. We do this through music, prayer, fellowship and learning.
- The service will be approximately 1.5 hours long, starting at 10:45 and typically ending around 12:15
- Prayer time will still be essential and a valued time during our service. Requests will be made one a time with a designated person to pray after each (both for those joining us virtually and in the building).
- There will an opportunity to pass the peace including physical contact such as handshakes, fist pumps, hugs, etc. as we respect people's boundaries and work to balance safety and comfort. if you are not comfortable with a handshake or or a hug, please don't feel nervous about saying so.
- There will not be a printed bulletin.
- There will be a time for offering where physical gifts can be placed. We also have glass beads to represent online tithes and offerings so feel free to grab one on the way in and put it in the plate as it goes around to represent these gifts.
- Children's church runs from Sept. to May. Kids can go downstairs to play and learn with our leaders, but may also stay upstairs with parents or colour/draw at the tables at the back of the sanctuary.
How can I continue to give weekly?
- First of all, we thank you for your faithfulness in giving to the ministries of Crestview Park Free Methodist Church as we reach our community.
- Please continue to make use of our online giving options.
- Offering may be placed in a plate as you exit the building.
Where are the washrooms?
- Downstairs and to the left.
